Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall would reportedly be open to a move to Manchester United this summer if Michael Carrick's side makes an official approach for the England international. The Reds have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old throughout the summer, having impressed with the Magpies.
The former Chelsea star made 46 appearances for Eddie Howe's side last season and his form thrust him into the international spotlight. Hall is considered England's future left-back by those on Tyneside and he's highly rated by others in the game.
*The i Paper*claims that Hall is of real interest to United and that sources close to the player say he'd be open to a move. However, no talks have taken place yet.
Newcastle were quick to quash any speculation after reports suggested Hall and head coach Eddie Howe had been involved in a bust-up, which could result in a move to the Reds..
The Magpies do not want to sell Hall amid an already huge rebuild at St. James' Park, with Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon leaving the club and captain Bruno Guimaraes continuing to be linked with a move to Premier League champions Arsenal.
United are expected to add a left-back to their ranks this summer, as Carrick continues to overhaul his squad for a return to the Champions League.
The Reds have added Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow to their ranks so far, with all eyes on what Carrick and Co. will do next.

United will reportedly add another midfielder to the group before turning their attention to a left-back, while adding another striker could prove difficult.
Benjamin Sesko could miss the start of the season through injury, meaning the returning Marcus Rashford could be deployed to lead the line.
However, there's an ongoing uncertainty about his future at the club, along with Joshua Zirkzee who is attracting interest from club's in Italy.
If the latter leaves Old Trafford, United will head into the transfer market to replace him, though no move for the Dutch striker is close as things stand.
