Manchester United are assessing their options for their youth talent after several of them impressed against Wrexham and Rosenborg.
How much will Shea Lacey play next season?

Lacey was handed a starting spot after impressing from the bench against Wrexham. He moved inside to the No.10 spot, rather than occupying the right flank, as he often did for the Under-21s last term.
The United youngster netted the opening goal of the game, with what fans of the academy will know as his trademark move. He was played through by Joshua Zirkzee before quickly shifting the ball to his left foot and curling it into the far post.
The 15-year-old was included in United's first-team travelling squad for the first time against Rosenborg, but was left on the bench after Michael Carrick's changes on the 60-minute mark. Gabriel has been handed the No.77 shirt for next season.
While United's youngsters are involved in pre-season for the time being, they are unlikely to remain as involved when the first-team players return from the post-World Cup break.
Chris Wheeler (The Daily Mail) has reported that United are "open" to the majority of their young players leaving on loan this summer. However, this does not include Shea Lacey, JJ Gabriel, Jack Fletcher, or Tyler Fletcher.
This suggests that all four could be used in Michael Carrick's first team next season, with United looking to compete across four competitions.
United are "prepared" to sell Harry Amass and Radek Vitek, but they will also consider a loan with an option to buy. Until they receive offers for the duo, they will remain part of the first-team squad, as per Chris Wheeler.
Dan Gore and Toby Collyer have also been told they will not be involved with the first-team squad when the season starts. Hull City retain an interest in Collyer after his loan move last season, and Gore will be available, too.
While Lacey, Gabriel, and the Fletcher twins could find it difficult to play in the Premier League, they could be offered opportunities to play in the Champions League and domestic cup competitions.
United will know they have to rotate their squad next season after a year of just 40 games in 2025/26, and it appears the young players will be looking to fill the gaps.
Michael Carrick could also turn to the likes of Jaydan Kamason and Jacob Devaney to provide cover in defence and midfield next season.
The performances of the U21s and U18s in recent years should give Carrick enough confidence to rely on the youngsters, should he need to.
