Earlier this summer, Man United were seriously interested in Iliman Ndiaye. But they did not make any attempt to start transfer negotiations. Now, Man United have faced a big obstacle in their plans to sign Iliman Ndiaye. Saudi side Al-Hilal are now in the race for the Everton forward.
What does Everton and Al-Hilal plan to do with Iliman Ndiaye?
As reported by TEAMtalk, Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal are impressed with Iliman Ndiaye. The Everton winger has become one of the most important transfer targets for the Asian side. The Senegalese football player has given some quality performances throughout the season in the Premier League. Amidst the Premier League interest, Al-Hilal have become one of his suitors.
The Saudi team has just signed former West Ham winger, Crysencio Summerville for €70m including add-ons, as reported by Sky Sports. After adding such an explosive forward, they are not showing any sign of stopping. Simeone Inzhagi’s side aims to improve their squad for the next season after losing the Saudi League title to rivals, Al-Nassr. They want to bring a high quality attacker and so they have shifted their attention towards Ndiaye. Fabrizio Romano has reported on X, that Al-Hilal have started talks to bring Iliman Ndiaye. The discussions are at initial stage.
The 25-year-old still has three years left on his current contract with the Toffees. The Everton hierarchy is completely relaxed about Ndiaye’s situation. David Moyes’ side is not stressed with the finances in the Premier League. Therefore, they are not eager to sanction his sale. Moreover, the Merseyside club is planning to start discussions about offering him a new contract which will extend his stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Everton are looking forward to guarantee Ndiaye’s future and want to appreciate him for his contribution at the club. He is a key figure in David Moyes’ system.

Man United have faced a major setback in the Ndiaye saga

Apart from Iliman Ndiaye and Mohamed Salah, Al-Hilal have set their eyes on Pedro Neto. As reported by Sportskeeda, the Chelsea player’s agent Jorge Mendes offered Neto to the Saudi team. The club is also monitoring his situation.
