Manchester United academy exits are expected this summer after Radek Vitek, Harry Amass, Dan Gore and Toby Collyer were informed that first-team opportunities will be limited under Michael Carrick.
The Daily Mail reports that United are prepared to let all four leave permanently. The club could also consider loan proposals containing options to buy for Vitek and Amass.

Manchester United academy exits planned after pre-season assessment
All four players featured during United’s 5-0 pre-season victory over Rosenborg. Vitek started in goal and kept a clean sheet, while Amass scored after replacing Luke Shaw at half-time.
Carrick praised Vitek afterwards and said he was “really pleased” with the goalkeeper’s performance. However, the 22-year-old wants regular senior football after spending last season on loan at Bristol City. Manchester United confirmed Carrick’s positive assessment, but his route into the team remains restricted.
Amass also impressed in Trondheim, scoring United’s fourth goal and helping to create another. Despite that contribution, ReadManUtd reported on Tuesday that United value the left-back at around £6million. Several Championship clubs have already shown interest.
Gore and Collyer were introduced during the second half against Rosenborg. However, the arrivals of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have increased competition in central midfield.
Both players have been told that their likely opportunities would come with the under-21 side. United believe permanent moves could provide a clearer route to regular senior football.
The decisions underline Carrick’s attempt to reduce the size of his pre-season group. Shea Lacey, JJ Gabriel, Jaydan Kamason and Jack and Tyler Fletcher are among the academy players expected to remain closer to the first-team setup.
Amass and Vitek could still train with Carrick’s squad until suitable offers arrive. United must now decide whether to include buy-back or sell-on clauses in any permanent agreements.
