Home›News›‘Dream’ – Juventus midfielder wants Manchester Uni…
Douglas Luiz reportedly dreams of completing a Manchester United transfer as Juventus consider using the midfielder in a possible exchange involving Joshua Zirkzee.
The Brazil international faces an uncertain future after struggling to establish himself following his £42million move from Aston Villa.
Tuttosport reports that Luiz wants to return to the Premier League. A move back to Brazil would only be considered as a final option.
Manchester United are described as his preferred destination. However, the report does not claim that Michael Carrick’s side have opened negotiations.

Douglas Luiz transfer could involve Zirkzee
Juventus reportedly need just under €30million to avoid recording a loss on Luiz.
Another loan containing an obligation to buy may also be considered after his temporary spells with Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa last season.
Tuttosport has also raised the possibility of Juventus including Zirkzee in discussions. The Netherlands international is attracting interest from the Serie A club as he considers his position at Old Trafford.
United are open to suitable offers for Joshua Zirkzee, although they would prefer a permanent transfer rather than another loan.
Luiz and Zirkzee are both represented by Kia Joorabchian, which could make discussions easier if the two clubs decide to explore an exchange.
United have already signed Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans this summer. However, Carrick remains interested in adding a midfielder capable of operating in a deeper position.
Luiz offers Premier League experience and produced his best football under Unai Emery at Villa. His limited impact over the past two seasons would nevertheless make any move a significant gamble.
For now, the Douglas Luiz transfer remains an idea raised in Italy rather than an active Manchester United pursuit.
