Ten football fans will lace up their boots for Team H&B and step onto the pitch this autumn, where they will be coached by former Lioness Jill Scott as they take on Manchester United legends Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville.
Whether you want the chance to share a pitch with your footballing heroes or finally settle the score with the team responsible for piping your club to the title all those years ago, every fan has a reason to enter.
Funds raised through Sport Relief will directly fund Sport for Change projects in local communities - including initiatives that use football, running, cycling and boxing to create safe spaces for people young and old, bringing them together and providing safety and security when it’s needed most.
Those wanting to score one over the Class of ‘92 will need to enter online by 6th August, or 11th August for postal entries, with winners to be contacted and will be contacted within 5 working days of the final close date (11th August) by telephone.
This summer, Holland & Barrett is encouraging the nation to back their bodies and do good at the same time. The Sport Relief campaign comes as new research found that over half (51%) of UK adults believe regular exercise or movement would most help them look after their body, yet a quarter say the cost of gym memberships, equipment and classes is holding them back.*
Holland & Barrett is proud to support initiatives that help make the benefits of sport and movement more accessible to more people.
Anthony Houghton, CEO, Holland & Barrett, said: "At Holland & Barrett, we're passionate about helping people take small steps towards living longer better, and regular movement is one of the most powerful ways to do that.
"We're proud to partner with Sport Relief to support organisations that use the power of sport to strengthen communities across the UK. We hope this campaign gives football fans an unforgettable experience while raising funds that will make a real difference to people's lives."
Former Lioness and Sport Relief Ambassador, Jill Scott said: “It’s not every day you get to coach a team taking on the Class of ’92! Sport has always been about so much more than the game itself, and I’ve seen first-hand how important it is that young people have access to safe spaces where they can get moving and build healthier habits that last.
"It’s a brilliant initiative to be part of and help raise funds for an important cause, and I’m excited to be on the sidelines with Team H&B for what will be a really special experience for the fans involved.”
