Liverpool target Francisco Conceição
Francisco Conceição
Francisco Conceicao had a decent 2025/26 season at Juventus and has now attracted interest from Manchester United.
The Portuguese attacker has been a regular for the Old Lady, contributing to 15 goals across the last two campaigns. A right winger by trade, Conceicao loves to take players on and has a knack for beating them too.
Some months ago, this skillset had attracted interest from Liverpool. Sport Witness covered claims that the Reds saw him as a replacement for Mo Salah, when there was certainty that the Egyptian would depart.
Andoni Iraola’s side are yet to proceed with a move and Conceicao has now attracted Manchester United’s interest.
Michael Carrick is a fan
TuttoJuve report the Red Devils have identified the winger as a target for the summer. Michael Carrick is a big fan and ‘particularly appreciates’ his 1v1 ability and pace on the flanks.
Juve are aware of his growth over the last season or so. He has become one of Luciano Spalletti’s favourite players, and the Old Lady are unlikely to make his exit easy this summer.
Juve haven’t included Conceicao in their list of players who could leave. As a result, at least €50m is needed to let him depart.
Conceicao initially joined Juve on loan from Porto and his move was made permanent in 2025. The Old Lady paid €30m, and the player signed a five-year deal.
