Manchester United have officially confirmed the permanent departure of promising academy defender Tyler Fredricson.
The highly-rated centre-back has completed a move to Lausanne-Sport, bringing an end to his long association with Old Trafford.
United is all that Tyler Fredricson has ever known.
But now it's time for a new adventure.
Tyler departs with our thanks for his contributions and best wishes for the next chapter ??

Fredricson progressed through every level of the United academy before earning his senior debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in April 2025.
The centre-back joined United at Under-9 level and went on to win the prestigious Denzil Haroun Reserve-Team Player of the Year award in 2025.
United have wisely protected their long-term interests by negotiating both a high-percentage sell-on clause and a buy-back option in the agreement with fellow INEOS-owned club Lausanne-Sport.
Those clauses could prove invaluable if Fredricson fulfils his enormous potential and his market value rises significantly in Switzerland.
The defender made three further first-team appearances for United, although his inexperience was exposed during the humiliating defeat to Grimsby Town last season.
The difficult circumstances surrounding that performance were hardly ideal, with several senior teammates also enduring one of the club’s worst displays of the campaign.
The 21-year-old made an exceptional debut against Wolves. He completed 64 of his 69 passes and won 12 of the 15 duels he contested.
He is an elegant ball-playing defender who excels at progressing possession from deep areas.
However, his development now requires a more stable environment than Old Trafford can currently provide.
Regular first-team football should accelerate his progress far more effectively than sporadic appearances for United.
With Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven all ahead of him in the pecking order, opportunities would have remained extremely limited.
United would ideally like to strengthen their defence again, but priorities elsewhere in the squad could force INEOS to postpone those plans until next summer.
