Newcastle United are now on the search for a new manager following Eddie Howe's departure from St James' Park on Thursday morning.
Howe becomes the latest high-profile exit from the club this summer after almost five years at the helm.
The Magpies have already cashed in on big-name players Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali for a combined £169m, with captain Bruno Guimaraes potentially set to follow them by leaving Tyneside amid strong interest from Premier League champions Arsenal.
However, that may not be the end of those exiting the club in the weeks ahead as Newcastle make a fresh start in the wake of Howe and some of his key players leaving.
Hall next to go?
Lewis Hall
Lewis Hall
Manchester United are weighing up a potential move for Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall, according to The Sun.
The 21-year-old has excelled for the Magpies since joining from Chelsea on an initial loan deal in August 2023, contributing three goals and seven assists in his 102 outings for the club.
His form has resulted in him making four senior appearances for England, with the player one of the unlucky ones to unfortunately miss out on Thomas Tuchel's 26-man squad for the recent World Cup in North America.

Hall's form for Newcastle has been that impressive that Manchester United view him as Luke Shaw's long-term replacement at Old Trafford.
Shaw, who doesn't have an outright competitor for his place in the team, is out of contract next year and the Red Devils want to bring in a new left-sided player.
The Sun previously reported that Hall is keen to leave Newcastle and that he would be open to a transfer to Michael Carrick's side.

Hall endured a tough start to life at Newcastle before going on to thrive under Howe in the first team.
The ex-Chelsea man put in the work on the training pitch and reaped the rewards as a result to become a standout player for the club, thus coming to Manchester United's attention in the process.
Speaking ahead of Newcastle's game at Chelsea back in March, Howe opened up on Hall's progression and even stated there's more to come from the left-back.
"I think it was a really smart piece of business by us to acquire Lewis when we did, he said, as reported by Newcastle's official website. "It was always with a longer term view - we knew he wouldn't come straight into the team, but we wanted to bring someone in that we feel could develop into that position.
"You never quite know how it's going to go - he had a really tough first year to do a lot of work behind the scenes. In that time he had to really show mental strength and patience and commit to his development and he's reaped the benefits from that season onwards.
"He's grabbed his chance in the team, and he's one of those players, I'd say, who is playing his best football currently. And I think there's loads more to come from them - there's still areas of his game to focus on and improve, but he's got a lot of strengths that not many players in that position have. That's what makes him stand out and catch the eye, so we hope that we can continue to stay here for a long time."
