The Four-time NBA champion and All-Star is signing a new one-year deal to remain in Golden State.
According to an earlier report from ESPN's Shams Charania, Green's one-year deal is worth $27.7 million.
Green famously declined his $27.6 million player option earlier this summer to help the Warriors sign LeBron James in free agency, however, after James chose the Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State signed their franchise big man to the same amount he had declined.
Draymond's Warriors legacy continues
Green was selected by Golden State with the No. 35 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft after four seasons at Michigan State.
Since then, he has become one of the most important players in franchise history. Green is a four-time NBA champion, four-time All-Star, former Defensive Player of the Year, and a multiple-time All-Defensive Team selection.
His partnership with Curry has been the foundation of the Warriors' championship era.
Green is coming off another season as Golden State's defensive anchor and secondary playmaker.
During the 2025-26 regular season, he averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game while shooting 41.8% from the field.
He appeared in 68 games and continued to serve as one of the Warriors' most important frontcourt defenders.
