Manchester United completed their first senior sale of the summer on Thursday afternoon, with Tyler Fredricson moving to Lausanne-Sport, but another could soon follow him out the door.

The overwhelming focus this summer for Manchester United has been rebuilding their midfield after Casemiro left the club at the end of the season.
Manuel Ugarte looked set to follow his former Brazilian teammate, but picked up an injury at the World Cup. It has been confirmed to be an ACL injury, which could see him miss all of the 2026/27 campaign.
Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have been brought in so far – for £50 million and £35 million, respectively – but United remain on the hunt for another before the end of the transfer window.
However, Director of Football Jason Wilcox will also aim to remove some fringe players at Old Trafford before the start of next term.
Joshua Zirkzee has been strongly linked with a move away; Harry Amass and Radek Vitek seem to have been put on the transfer list, all while a new left-sided player and a centre-forward are still on the radar.

Tyler Fredricson became the first senior player to be sold by Manchester United this summer, as he joined Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss Super League – a team who are owned by INEOS.
He could soon be followed out the door by Altay Bayindir, who has reportedly held talks to leave Old Trafford on Wednesday, 29 July, according to The Sun.
Bayindir's agent was at the Carrington training complex after the shotstopper admitted he did not know where he would be playing football next season.
"I have no idea. We will see. Time will show us everything," Bayindir said when asked by a fan outside the training ground.
A return to Turkey appears to be the most likely destination (as per The Sun), as Besiktas were touted as a potential option in January. Tranzonspor will not be looking for a new goalkeeper, having signed Andre Onana on another season-long loan.

United must be careful with Vitek sale
Radek Vitek could soon follow Bayindir and Fredricson, having been told that he will not play for United's first team next season.
He has already been linked with Celtic and Middlesbrough this summer, with interest sure to be high after his impressive campaign in the Championship at Bristol City.
United need to be careful when they do sell Vitek, though. When the Czechia goalkeeper leaves, the Red Devils will have Senne Lammens, Karl Darlow and Tom Heaton.
Darlow and Heaton are 35 and 40, respectively. So, United are likely to be back in the goalkeeper market sooner rather than later.
When they sell Vitek this summer, they must ensure he has a sell-on and a buy-back clause in the contract – as they have with Fredricson. They must also not be afraid to use it.
Alvaro Carreras also had a buy-back clause before he moved to Real Madrid, which United chose not to act on, despite now searching for a Luke Shaw competitor.
