Roundtable have previously exclusively reported that Michael Carrick has a say in the transfer process this summer – more of a say than Rúben Amorim had at Old Trafford.
Manchester United were keen to implement a more cooperative approach with the new head coach and have since signed Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow, Youri Tielemans and Tynan Thompson. Cristian Orozco and Kit Margeston have also joined the Under-21s.
Director of Football Jason Wilcox remains on the hunt for more additions to Michael Carrick's first-team squad ahead of the return to the Champions League next season.
United will still be targeting a left-sided player and a centre-forward, while a third midfielder will be the top priority.
The Red Devils have been linked with both left-backs and left-wingers this summer, with Patrick Dorgu's future likely decided by who joins the club.
Michael Carrick's "ideal" signing
As reported by Tutto Juve, Manchester United have identified Juventus winger Francisco Conceiçao as one of their "key targets" for the rest of the summer.
Michael Carrick sees Conceiçao as "ideal" for the Premier League – noting his ability to beat his full-back, as well as being able to play on both the left and right flanks.
Conceiçao is valued at £43 million, but Juventus do not want to sell the Portuguese wide player, as he has become crucial to their side.
United should have money in the bank, given they were seemingly prepared to pay £85 million for Mateus Fernandes before he moved to Tottenham Hotspur.

United should trust Rashford
Marcus Rashford looks destined to return to Old Trafford, for pre-season if nothing more.
Barcelona chose not to activate their £26 million buy option at the end of his loan move, and no club acted on the £40 million release clause before it expired earlier this month.
United are continuing to search for wide players, but they already have Marcus Rashford, who impressed at the World Cup and netted 14 goals and 11 assists for Barcelona last term. He would be worth considerably more than £26 million had he not already been contracted to the club.
Rather than spending over £40 million on a new winger, United should put their trust in Rashford. They already have Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu on the left, and Amad and Bryan Mbeumo on the right. A sixth wide player after Rashford is not necessary, especially with Shea Lacey and Tynan Thompson also coming through.
