Manchester United have had an exciting transfer window thus far, welcoming a number of high-profile arrivals - but their work doesn't appear to be finished just yet

Manchester United could tempt Nicolo Tresoldi to make a U-turn on his commitment to Club Brugge, as they monitor his situation closely. United have had a highly fruitful transfer window thus far, with a number of top talents arriving at Old Trafford.
Michael Carrick will be able to utilise Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans how he sees fit in 2026/27, following their moves from Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively, while Karl Darlow looks likely to serve as Senne Lammens No. 2 after joining the club as a free agent.
However, the consensus is that a number of other problem positions need rectifying before the window slams shut in September. While Benjamin Sesko improved in part last season, the 23-year-old didn't come as the 20-goal machine that some wanted - managing 11 in 30 appearances.
As a result, United could be on the lookout for additions to their attacking line over the coming month or so. One name who has been mentioned as a potential acquisition comes in the form of 21-year-old Brugge striker, Tresoldi.
The Germany youth international has impressed in the Belgian Pro League since his arrival from Hannover 96 last summer, bagging 23 goals and nine assists across all competitions in his maiden term. And as a result, a number of Premier League clubs are paying attention with a view to a move.
United are thought to be one of those outfits, alongside Chelsea - who are in the process of overhauling their first-team following Xabi Alonso's arrival as head coach. However, United may have a mountain to climb should they be serious in their pursuit of Tresoldi.
The Cagliari-born centre-forward has recently reaffirmed his commitment to Brugge for 2026/27 off the back of his success in the Belgian Pro League last season. With three years on his current contract, club president Bart Verhaeghe has also made it clear that Tresoldi is going nowhere - not even for a record fee.
However, with a real transfer war chest at their disposal, INEOS could change that. HNS claim that United are monitoring Tresoldi's situation on a 'day-to-day- basis, while Roma are also curtailing the talent.
The publication also report that the Serie A giants have submitted a bid of £29.9million. With no release clause in his contract until next year, the ball is ultimately in Brugge's court as they look to retain Tresoldi.
And despite their firm stance, that's not to say a ludicrous offer couldn't change things.
Fans have seen clubs change their tune time and time again regarding the status of a player during transfer windows as soon as a multi million pound offer is tabled, and it will be interesting to see the response from Brugge in the event United make a move.
