The latest transfer talk from Newcastle United as another Magpies star is linked with a move away from St James Park.
Newcastle United could be facing a further transfer headache after Premier League rivals Manchester United were linked with one of the Magpies' key stars.
Newcastle have already raked in a significant amount of money from big-money deals that have seen winger Anthony Gordon and midfielder Sandro Tonali depart for Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur respectively and the likes of Kieran Trippier and Emil Krafth have also left the club since the end of last season after their contracts came to a close. There is ongoing speculation suggesting Arsenal are ready to ramp up their interest in United captain Bruno Guimaraes by lodging a bid for the Brazil international and Joelinton has reportedly informed the St James' Park hierarchy he wishes to pursue a move to the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

There has been speculation suggesting Magpies left-back Lewis Hall is a target for a number of clubs after he enjoyed an impressive season last time out during what was a difficult campaign for his side - and Sky Sports News have reported Manchester United are ‘exploring’ a potential move for the four-times capped England and that could leave the Magpies facing a battle to hold on to another one of their key players. Hall still has three years left on the contract he signed when he joined United on a permanent deal during the summer of 2024 after spending the previous season on loan at St James Park.
Speaking outside the United training ground, Sky Sports News’ North East reporter Keith Downie said: “You asked me about Lewis Hall regarding his situation, another player Newcastle desperately want to keep at the club; he was terrific last season, but we can tell you Manchester United are exploring a potential move for the left-back. They only have Luke Shaw as an out-and-out left-back. They have liked him for a long time, we’ve been reporting this for a number of months. They are exploring a potential move for Lewis Hall - but as we understand it, there has been no contact with Newcastle, like that with Bruno Guimaraes and Arsenal, for Lewis Hall’s services. It doesn’t rain but it pours for Newcastle.”
