Giovanni Carnevali has provided an update on Juventus’ move for Randal Kolo Muani as the Bianconeri continue their efforts to add the attacker to their squad this summer. The Frenchman remains a priority target after impressing during his previous spell with the club.
Kolo Muani spent the first half of 2025 on loan at Juve and delivered strong performances, showing that he could be clinical in front of goal. Juventus wanted him to return after that loan spell ended and have continued working towards securing his signature.
Juventus close in on Kolo Muani agreement
The relationship between Juventus and PSG was damaged after the Bianconeri failed to sign Kolo Muani last summer. However, Juve have managed to repair their connection with the French club, allowing discussions to progress and bringing them closer to an agreement.
Kolo Muani has been waiting for Juve throughout the process and reportedly did not want to move to another club. Juventus therefore had to do everything possible to complete the transfer and make sure they could bring him back to the squad.
The attacker is now expected to finalise his move soon, with Carnevali suggesting that an agreement between all parties is close. Juventus remain confident that they can complete the deal and add another attacking option to their team.
Carnevali confirms final stage of negotiations
He said via Football Italia:
“We are closing the Kolo Muani deal now; it’s a negotiation that has been going on for a long time.
“When I arrived at Juve, I read in the papers that it was already a done deal, but that wasn’t the case. There were difficulties, and we had to repair relations with Paris Saint Germain, fixing the previous problems. We’re finalising it in these hours and we’re in the concluding phase.”
The comments show that Juventus have worked through several challenges to reach this point. The club now appears close to securing a player they have wanted to bring back since his successful loan spell.
Kolo Muani’s return would strengthen Juventus’ attacking options and give them a player who has already shown he can perform for the club. The final steps of the agreement are now expected to determine when the transfer becomes official.
