Kieron Bowie, the former Northampton Town loanee, could be worth over 10 million Euros by the end of the season after swapping one Italian club for another.
The 24-year-old striker, scorer of 14 goals in two impressive seasons at Sixfields, joined Serie A side Hellas Verona from Hibernian for a club record of fee of around six million Euros in January. He went on to make an immediate impact, scoring four times in 14 games, including goals against Inter Milan and Juventus.

Following Verona’s relegation, the Scotland international has stayed in the Italian top flight by joining Sassuolo, who finished 11th last season, on loan for the 2026/27 campaign. The deal includes an option to buy which will become an obligation if certain conditions are met.
The fee, should he complete a permanent move to Sassuolo next summer, is reported to be around €10.5million.
Bowie made his Scotland debut against Liechtenstein last summer but did not earn a call-up for the 2026 World Cup.
