Mario Hezonja officially joined the Cleveland Cavaliers this afternoon.
After a long saga with Real Madrid and an NBA exit clause, news were officially confirmed this afternoon.
For the first time since the news broke out, Croatian forward wrote his first statement on his X profile.
"Never liked how I left the NBA but these past 5 years have been exactly what I wanted and much needed!," Hezonja recalled on his 5 previous years in EuroLeague.
"I am super happy that my new chapter is with the Cleveland Cavaliers, a team and organization that I have always admired and respected!" Hezonja wrote on his X account.
This will mark Hezonja's return to the NBA for the first time since 2020.
