LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas is reportedly hiring a front office member from the Houston Rockets.
According to a [report](https://www.espn.com/contributor/pete-thamel/8204b31fe7db2) from ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the Jayhawks are bringing in Sam Strantz as the school’s new Executive Director of Front Office Strategy and Operations. Thamel adds that the job is essentially a centralized general manager for the athletic department, and he’ll report to AD Travis Goff.
Thamel stated that the role will build out a front office model with the objective of adding value to the revenue-generating programs.
