Juventus keeps door open for Vlahovic to contact them

Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic could yet be reunited this summer, but the Serbian striker must make the first move if he wants to return to the club.

His contract expired at the end of last month, and he quietly left the club. However, he has not yet found a new team, and Juventus have not withdrawn their previous offer for his signature.

Vlahovic Yet to Decide on His Future

Besiktas were interested in adding him to their squad this summer, but he does not want to move to Turkiye. Instead, he has been waiting for another club to come forward with an offer to secure his services during the current transfer window.

The striker is eager to complete a move to a new team soon, but a return to Juventus also remains a possibility. The Bianconeri have continued to wait, leaving the door open should he decide that he wants to rejoin the club.

Juventus Leave the Door Open

Their new CEO, Giovanni Carnevali, has once again insisted that he has never spoken directly to the striker about remaining at the club. Nevertheless, he acknowledged that the opportunity for the former Fiorentina player to return has not been completely ruled out.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Carnevali said: “I’ve never met him. I know Juve had made him a proposal, but it wasn’t accepted. It’s very simple. I’m not one to chase players when there are tempting offers. I’ve always been available to talk to his agents, but again, I’ve never met him.”

Carnevali’s comments indicate that while Juventus are not actively pursuing the striker, communication with his representatives has remained possible. The club’s position appears unchanged, with the responsibility now resting on Vlahovic if he wishes to revive discussions over a return.

For the moment, the striker continues to assess his options after failing to secure a move elsewhere. With interest from Besiktas not progressing because of his preference against relocating to Turkiye, a return to Juventus remains one of the possibilities available to him if he decides to take the initiative.
