Longo: Renewal or Juventus move – Milan and Tomori face important decision

Tomori, Milan and Juve

Fikayo Tomori’s future at AC Milan continues to hang in the balance, with Juventus and Ricky Massara keeping a close eye on the situation.

At the start of the summer, Tomori’s exit seemed almost certain, following two underwhelming seasons in the red and black shirt. However, the matter is far from settled and the Englishman could get his way, as he would rather stay than leave.

Ruben Amorim is currently evaluating the player in pre-season and Milan certainly aren’t pushing him towards the door, even if there is money to be made. The contract situation also adds another layer to the story, with a decision needed from the Rossoneri soon.

Juventus remain interested

In his YouTube video, Daniele Longo took stock of the matter. The former Milan sporting director Ricky Massara is now at Juventus and he’s a huge fan of Tomori. In fact, he was one of the main protagonists of the deal that brought him to the Rossoneri.

The interest is there from the Bianconeri, in other words, but the Englishman isn’t too keen on leaving Milan this summer. He’s very attached to the club and it would have to be a good move on all fronts for him to accept.

Massara has held talks with the entourage of Tomori, so a deal could still be possible for the Turin side. As Longo puts it, “either he will renew or he will go to Juve”, as his current contract with Milan expires in 2027.
