Jeremy Sochan is returning to the Western Conference following a brief spell with the New York Knicks.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Sochan has agreed to a one-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Sochan joins Portland
The Polish forward spent the second half of the 2025-26 campaign with the Knicks and was part of New York's championship-winning roster.
Before moving to New York, Sochan had played his entire NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs, who selected him with the ninth overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
The move to Portland gives Sochan an opportunity to compete for a more significant role as he enters his fifth season in the league.
Sochan's NBA numbers
Sochan has averaged 9.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game during his NBA career.
His most productive season came in 2023-24, when he recorded 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per contest.
The 23-year-old was also named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team after his debut campaign with San Antonio.
Known for his defensive versatility, physicality, and ability to guard multiple positions, Sochan will add another flexible forward to Portland's rotation.
