Casemiro suffered a nightmare on his home debut for new club Inter Miami. The former Manchester United star scored an own-goal as his side drew with Columbus Crew.
The Brazilian, 34, sent an errant pass to the opposition before sliding the ball past his own goalkeeper as he attempted to cut out a cross. Casemiro's misfortune allowed Columbus to equalise following Luis Suarez's opening strike.
While Casemiro was clearly frustrated following his error, Inter Miami took the lead again before halftime. Noah Allen got on the scoresheet in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time to restore the home side's lead. Brais Mendez ensured that Columbus got a share of the spoils with a late goal.
Despite his mistake, Casemiro completed 90 minutes for the second match in succession. His full debut saw a 1-0 win over Montreal that was overshadowed by a serious injury to his new teammate German Berterame.
The former Real Madrid star left Manchester United at the end of the season, when his contract came to a close. The Brazil international enjoyed an impressive final term with United but announced his plans to leave at the beginning of the year.
The veteran featured for his nation at the World Cup before his new club was confirmed following Brazil's last-16 exit. Casemiro signed a one-year deal, with an option to extend his stay until 2029.

Speaking earlier in the week, Casemiro revealed he dreamt of playing alongside MLS star Lionel Messi. The World Cup runner-up came off the bench against Columbus to fulfill his former rival's wish.
"The amount of trouble Messi gave me. of course, I dreamed of playing with him," Casemiro said. "I always wanted to play with the best. I could never stop him, I always needed the help of my teammates.
"I am very happy to be alongside him now and I want to continue winning titles with him. I want to enjoy being alongside him, help him and make him even greater. He is one of the gods of football, if not the God of football himself, and I want to help.

Casemiro's transfer has come with its fair share of drama, too, however. The MLS announced that they were investigating his move after Inter Miami reached a settlement with LA Galaxy for the rights to sign him.
"The league is gathering all relevant information and will refrain from further comment until the review is complete," the MLS said. "While Inter Miami CF and the LA Galaxy have reached a settlement for the discovery priority [first rights] to sign Casemiro, the terms will be released upon conclusion of the tampering investigation."
