With around one month left in the transfer window, Manchester United are kicking into gear both on and off the pitch.
While Michael Carrick's squad have played three of their six pre-season fixtures this summer, having played Wrexham, Rosenborg, and recently defeated Atletico Madrid 2-1 in Sweden, those in the Old Trafford offices are continuing to scout the market.
United have made three first-team additions so far this summer, bringing in Andrey Santos from Chelsea, Karl Darlow from Leeds United, and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa, but more are needed.

While Hall is the club's clear first-choice target in the position, United have lined up multiple other names that could be adequate cover at left-back alongside Luke Shaw.
According to talkSPORT, one of these is Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly. The 19-year-old has already made 75 appearances for his boyhood club, with most of these coming at left-back but also some in midfield.
With both Piero Hincapie and Riccardo Calafiori both ahead of the player in the position at left-back, and with the pending signing of Bruno Guimarães in midfield, the England international may look to head away from the Emirates to secure better minutes.
The report states that while Hall remains the club's priority target, if negotiations with Newcastle fail to provide a breakthrough, United could then head to North London and make a move for the young talent.

Hall clearly open to United move
United's transfer policy in recent seasons has shifted to only really heading to sign players who have made joining the club their priotiy.
This was clearly the case with Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Šeško last summer, while United never really put their foot down on a move for Matheus Fernandes this time around, as they reportedly felt the Portuguese player never indicated a preference to join the club over Tottenham.
According to journalist Andy Mitten, United's intent to speak with Newcastle about Hall is a clear sign that the player would like to join the Reds this summer, but that the Gordie side would no doubt demand a high fee.
While an exact figure has yet to be established in the media, many have speculated that a transfer for the 21-year-old could cost upwards of £60 million, given his clear talent, experience, and potential ceiling.
