The Argentinian goalkeeper has been linked with a move away from Villa Park this summer.
Aston Villa have reportedly been informed by Juventus that they do not intend to pursue a deal to sign Emi Martinez this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian heavyweights made the decision internally earlier this week on the premise that his price tag is too high.
Martinez reached the World Cup final with Argentina, but was unable to help his nation retain the trophy, after they lost 1-0 against Spain in the final.
The 33-year-old has once again been linked with a move away from Villa Park, after six years at the club.
In total, Martinez has made 256 appearances for the Villans across all competitions, registering 80 clean sheets.
He helped guide Villa to silverware in the Europa League last term and also reached the Champions League quarter-finals in 2025 and Europa Conference League semi-finals in 2024.
Martinez, who also had 67 caps for Argentina, kept 14 shutouts in 44 games in all competitions last season.
