Paris Saint-Germain has won two Champions League crowns in a row and is seeking to get even stronger for 2026/27.

Per transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano. PSG submitted a bid of €40 million to Ajax for winger Mika Godts:

🚨🔴🔵 EXCL: Paris Saint-Germain send official bid over €40m to Ajax for Mika Godts.

Negotiations moving fast as package around €45m is on the table for the Belgian winger, close to Ajax initial €60m valuation.

Mika Godts said yes to PSG and personal terms are agreed. 🇧🇪

While not necessarily a move for the present, PSG is also seeking to add to its goalkeeper depth according to Romano:

🚨🔴🔵 EXCLUSIVE: Paris Saint-Germain send €33m package bid to Parma for Japanese GK Zion Suzuki.

PSG now ahead of Juventus as official bid has been sent and Parma are ready to proceed.

PSG also presented their project to Suzuki, based on Chevalier’s future.

Deal on. 🇯🇵

BFW Analysis

As of now, PSG is till the leader in the clubhouse for the Champions League in 2026/27 and Bayern Munich is still chasing the two-time reigning champs. While Suzuki is not likely to have a material impact on PSG’s squad this season, Godts, who was linked to Bayern Munich earlier this summer, could provide the kind of depth that allows head coach Luis Enrique to rotate liberally in Ligue1, so that he can have his best players energetic and healthy for the Champions League.

As Bayern Munich has learned, a fresh PSG is a monster.
