Clutchpoints NBA insider Brett Siegel has learned that the Dallas Mavericks are going to be able to keep a key player on the roster for years to come. The Mavericks reached a $52.2 million extension with Naji Marshall, it was announced on Sunday.
“The fully guaranteed deal takes Marshall through the 2029-30 season in Dallas,” ESPN's Shams Charania posted to X.
Marshall averaged a little more than 15 points per game for Dallas during this past season. He shot 51 percent from the field, while also grabbing close to five rebounds per game.
