The club have already missed out on a move for Alisson Becker and recently informed Aston Villa that they would not pursue a deal for Emiliano Martinez under the current financial conditions being requested. This has left Juventus with fewer options as they search for a new first-choice goalkeeper.
Juventus consider Vicario alternative
Guglielmo Vicario is one of the remaining options available to Juventus, with the club having held an interest in the Tottenham goalkeeper for some time. The Italian shot stopper has emerged as a possible solution as the Bianconeri continue their search for a long-term addition.
Vicario has reportedly informed Tottenham that he would like to leave the club during the current transfer window. He was also left out of their pre-season tour squad, which has increased speculation that he could be heading for an exit before the window closes.
Juventus wait for Tottenham decision
Juventus believe Vicario would be a strong addition to their team and view him as one of the best available options to improve their squad. However, the club’s approach may depend on whether Tottenham are willing to accept their preferred deal structure.
According to Sky Sports, Juventus are currently interested in signing Vicario on loan rather than completing a permanent transfer this summer. If Tottenham open the door to that possibility, the Bianconeri are expected to make their move for the goalkeeper.
Tottenham would prefer to secure a permanent transfer for Vicario, but there remains time for the situation to develop. If they fail to find a buyer willing to meet their demands, the Premier League club could consider a late loan agreement before the transfer window closes.
