Manchester United fans have been discussing the transfer fee they would pay for Lewis Hall.
Lewis Hall is being mentioned as a top target for Manchester United, with Ineos keen to strengthen the left-back options in Michael Carrick’s squad.
Newcastle are already shopping for Hall replacements, which suggests United have a strong chance of landing the 21-year-old this summer.
However, Newcastle have already sold multiple key players, including Sandro Tonali, Anthony Gordon and potentially Bruno Guimaraes. If United want to sign Hall, they will have to pay up.

The most expensive full-back deals in football have only reached £60 million, with Achraf Hakimi and Joao Cancelo both going for that fee.
With that in mind, United fans on TalkingPoints have been discussing how much of the transfer budget they’d be willing to part with to sign Hall this summer.
United fans mostly agreed that a fee between £50m-£60m would be acceptable for Hall, although most wanted it to be below £55m.
Why Lewis Hall is valued highly by Newcastle United
Ineos have made a habit of signing young players at United, and they will know by now that signing potential comes with a higher asking price.
Hall has world-class potential, and that is what United will be paying for. Not only an experienced Premier League defender, but a 21-year-old who could be a starter for the next decade.

Then Hall’s homegrown status will have to be taken into account. A “homegrown tax” has become commonplace in the Premier League, as top-flight sides are required to have eight ‘homegrown’ players in their final 25-man squad.
‘Homegrown’ status is given to a player affiliated with the English FA or Welsh FA for 3 entire seasons before turning 21.
