Fenerbahce are ready to 'break the bank' to bring Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to Turkey.
Rashford, 28, is set to return to United for pre-season training later this month after spending the 2025/26 season loan at Barcelona. During his time at the Camp Nou, Rashford impressed, scoring 14 goals and adding 14 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.
Barca had a £26million option to buy Rashford but chose against triggering that clause and instead signed his England teammate Anthony Gordon in a £69m deal from Newcastle United. That has left Rashford's future in the balance, though he is expected to team up with his United teammates for pre-season in mid-August following England's participation at the World Cup.
Michael Carrick is poised to give Rashford another chance to find a route back into the United XI, but the club still haven't ruled out selling him before the end of the transfer window. United value Rashford at around £30m and would prefer to not offload him to a Premier League rival.
That stance could therefore suit Fenerbahce with the Super Lig side prepared to splash the cash on Rashford, according to The Sun. He is on a three-man shortlist that includes Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr and AC Milan's Rafael Leao, both of whom are thought to be wanted by United this summer.
Fenerbahce have held talks with Leao's representatives but have so far failed to agree a deal. The same can be said about Sarr, who is represented by the same agent as Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson.

They have spoken to Rashford's camp over a potential move as Fenerbahce look to back new manager Ismail Kartal with a squad capable of challenging Galatasaray for the Turkish top-flight title. However, Rashford was not believed to favour a move to Turkey when Fenerbahce's interest was first rumoured earlier in the summer.
Rashford's former United teammate Mason Greenwood signed for Fenerbahce earlier in the window. Also at the Istanbul club are ex-Reds midfielder Sofyan Amrabat and Marco Asencio, who played with Rashford at Aston Villa.
Addressing his future during the World Cup, Rashford admitted he wanted his future resolved before going out to the tournament in North America. "I live in the moment," Rashford said after the Three Lions beat Mexico in the Round of 16, as quoted by SPORT.
"I was very clear with everyone involved before the World Cup. I wanted everything resolved beforehand. Since it wasn't, I'm not thinking about it until after the tournament. I want to be fully present because we're fighting for something very special."
