It is still early, but one thing is already clear: The Philadelphia 76ers are the consensus to rule the Eastern Conference in the upcoming season.
Philadelphia is being viewed as the biggest threat to the throne of the New York Knicks, and it is easy to see why. A starting lineup of Joel Embiid, LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, VJ Edgecombe, and Tyrese Maxey could be the best in the league, at least on paper.
The 76ers have not won the championship since 1983. James was not even born yet at that time. But many believe that Philadelphia will finally end that drought.
In fact, Brown revealed on his livestream that he already has a plan if they win the title. James, however, might need more convincing.
“I told VJ, Bron, Max, and Embiid, if we win the championship, everybody's going skydiving. Bron texted me back and said, ‘Boy, hell nah!'” shared Brown with a laugh.

Clearly, the sky's the limit for James.
Skydiving may be too extreme for the 41-year-old veteran. Perhaps the ideal celebration for him is to drink wine, ice his knees, and go to bed by 9 p.m.
But wouldn't it be great to see the four-time MVP jumping off a plane with his teammates? Just imagine the sight of Embiid screaming at a camera from 10,000 feet in the air.
Seriously though, the 76ers have a strong chance to lift the Larry O'Brien Trophy if they all buy into their roles and leave their egos at the door. Brown stated that he is willing to take a back seat, which should send the right signal to the squad.
