Klay Thompson responded to Kevin Durant's comparison of their Golden State Warriors squad to the current Philadelphia 76ers team.
In a comment on Instagram, Durant defended his earlier take that the 76ers have a better team right now than his Warriors.
Thompson reacted to KD's comment in his IG story saying:
"Aye man, u good? What u using my full government [name] for?"
Klay played together with Durant from 2016-19 in Golden State, winning NBA championships together in 2017 and 2018.

Kevin Durant believes the Philadelphia 76ers have assembled even more individual scoring talent than the Golden State Warriors teams he helped lead to two championships.
Philadelphia can now field four players capable of averaging around 25 points per game in LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, and Tyrese Maxey. Durant's Warriors were historically dominant, but much of their success came from the fit, ball movement, and chemistry between Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
Durant therefore sees the 76ers as potentially superior in terms of pure offensive firepower. However, Philadelphia must still prove its stars can share the ball, stay healthy, and reproduce the cohesion that made Golden State nearly unstoppable.
On paper, the 76ers may possess more scorers. Turning that talent into a championship team will be the greater challenge.
