Nicolas Gonzalez insists he does not want to play for Juventus again, and he could leave the club for Inter Milan, according to Sky Sports Italia, who report that they are interested in a move for the winger.
Gonzalez has been at Juve since 2024 and struggled during his first season before spending the following campaign on loan at Atletico Madrid. The Spanish side had the option to make the transfer permanent, but they want to pay a smaller fee than the amount previously agreed with the Bianconeri.
Gonzalez’s future at Juventus
Luciano Spalletti wanted Gonzalez to remain at the club and have another opportunity to impress, but the player wants to leave, and Juventus have accepted the situation. The club has now moved forward with plans that do not include him.
Gonzalez is currently available on the market, and Juve are open to negotiating his departure because they do not want to keep a player who is unwilling to continue representing the team. Inter Milan have reportedly identified him as a possible addition to their squad.
Inter Milan’s interest and Juventus plans
Inter Milan need at least one new winger during this transfer window and have decided that Gonzalez could be the player to fill that role within their team. His situation at Juventus has made a possible move easier to consider.
Juve are prepared to allow him to join Inter Milan if an agreement can be reached, as they prefer to focus on players who are fully committed to the club. If Gonzalez leaves, the Bianconeri will continue working in the transfer market to find a replacement for him. The club remains active in its search for solutions and will look to strengthen the squad if the winger completes his departure. Juventus are also expected to continue assessing their options as the transfer window progresses.
