This offseason Golden State didn't sign any new players. While they re-signed many of their guys from last season, the 2025-26 squad wasn't very promising, therefore the idea of running it back doesn't sound especially exciting.

What Bradley Beal could bring to the Warriors
Bradley Beal would be a risky addition for the Golden State Warriors, but he could also address one of their clearest remaining needs.
Golden State lacks a proven shot creator behind Stephen Curry. Beal could provide scoring and ball-handling for the second unit, allowing Curry to spend more time away from the ball and reducing the offensive burden on him during the regular season.

In his last full season with the Phoenix Suns, Beal averaged 17.0 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.3 rebounds while making 38.6% of his three-pointers. Although he has primarily played shooting guard, he could also organize bench units as a secondary point guard.
The major concern would be his health. Beal appeared in only six games last season before suffering a season-ending hip fracture and has not played more than 53 games in a campaign since 2020–21, when he earned his All-NBA Third Team selection.
He would also likely need to accept a veteran-minimum contract because of Golden State's limited flexibility below the second apron. At that price, however, his scoring upside could make him a worthwhile gamble for a Warriors team still searching for offensive help behind Curry.
