Joao Mario shared his first thoughts with us after completing his move to Fiorentina.

“I'm thrilled to be here. Fiorentina is a great club. I can't wait for the season to start and for us to win lots of games.”
**Have you had the chance to have a look around Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park?**
“Yes, it's amazing. I was very surprised. The facilities are top-notch. We have everything we need to work really well here. I hope we're set for a season of success.”
**Do you know any of the players here already?**
“No, I don't know any of them. I know there are some Brazilians who speak my language but I haven't met anyone before. Hopefully I'll to get to know them well now.”
**What made you choose Fiorentina?**
“Everything about the club's history, the team and the city – that's what convinced me to come here. I was really impressed by the plans laid out to me. It was an easy choice to make and I'm happy to be here.”
**Do you have a message for the fans?**
“I just want to say that I can't wait to see them at the stadium. We'll work hard to give them lots to celebrate this season.”
