Unsurprisingly, fans have been left worried about where this entire project is headed. Winning no longer seems to be the priority. They have replaced key players with youngsters no older than 20.
If Newcastle United are not careful, they might find themselves in a relegation battle next season. The last thing they need right now is someone like Lewis Hall to leave.
Unfortunately, there is interest in Hall from top clubs. While Pep Chavarria seems to be the priority for Chelsea, Manchester United continue to be linked with the Newcastle United left-back. Now, there is an update on the situation.

According to a report from The Athletic, left-back is a prime consideration for Man Utd. Hall is well-liked, but a deal looks highly complicated. Sources have told the outlet that Newcastle United are now privately insisting that the player will not leave.
This will be music to the ears of Newcastle United fans. It won’t make much sense to part ways with Hall at this point or any time soon for that matter.
If the focus for Newcastle United is to go with the youth and potential route, there are not too many better out there than Hall. Let us not forget that he is still 21 years of age.
But in the eyes of many, Hall is already the best left-back in the Premier League. If not, he is at least in that conversation. So, the hope is that Newcastle United will be able to hold on to the Englishman, because finding a replacement will be almost impossible.

Of course, it would be a mistake for Newcastle fans to completely overlook Manchester United’s chances of getting something done at the same time.
This summer, we have already seen time and again that big clubs have a pull that Newcastle United are having a tough time competing with.
On top of that, this change in strategy means that many players are pushing to leave in order to join clubs where they will have a chance to compete for silverware immediately.
One can only hope that the club do everything in their power to ensure that Hall remains happy at St James’ Park and continues there for the foreseeable future.
