Real Madrid might have had enough of the dilly-dallying and could be ready to attempt to get a deal done with RB Leipzig for winger Yan Diomandé per Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg:

After failing to pry Michael Olise away from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid has put its full focus on Diomandé.
Diomandé‘s departure would be a significant blow to RB Leipzig’s hopes of closing the gap on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. The young winger brought pace, directness, and unpredictability to Leipzig’s attack, giving them another player capable of creating chances and stretching defenses in one-on-one situations. Replacing that level of explosiveness is rarely easy, especially for a player who was still developing and appeared to have an even higher ceiling.
If Leipzig loses Diomandé without an immediate, like-for-like replacement, they risk becoming less dynamic in the final third, but will also likely have a lot of money to try and fill the gap in the coming weeks. Against a Bayern Munich side with the deepest squad in Germany, even a slight drop in attacking quality can make the difference over a 34-match season. For a club aiming to challenge for the Bundesliga title rather than simply secure a top-four finish, losing a player of Diomandé‘s potential makes that task considerably more difficult.
