Fans United for a better United - Must-1958 Unity & Respect Agreement

**Fans United for a better United**After extensive dialogue, MUST and the 1958 have agreed a statement of unity which was developed by working with the FSA (Football Supporters Association). Through patience, engagement, and a shared understanding of what truly matters, we have found common ground built on mutual respect and a collective commitment to the future of our club. While we are and will remain distinct groups, and sometimes differ on tactics, we believe we are united on our objectives. We are united by our love for the club, our determination to protect its identity, heritage and matchgoing culture, and our shared belief that supporters deserve better ownership, governance and outcomes.Supporters will always express themselves in different ways, and that diversity of voices and approaches is a strength. What matters is recognising that these differences sit within a shared commitment to Manchester United and a shared respect for one another as fans. This statement is about affirming that unity — not uniformity — is essential if supporters are to be heard and valued. When fans stand together in mutual respect, the collective voice of Manchester United supporters is stronger. This statement of unity will enable us to better influence and help steer our club back onto the right path. In particular, it strengthens our ability to challenge and improve the way supporters are treated, ensuring fan voices are respected and never ignored.MUST and The 1958 will remain completely independent organisations, each focussed on their own approach to improving our Club. But we affirm that we share the goals set out in this note and we will collaborate where it makes sense to do so. And we believe that by standing together, we significantly strengthen the collective voice of supporters and our ability to hold the club and its owners to account. Division weakens us. Unity empowers us. A united fanbase is impossible to dismiss and essential if meaningful change is to be achieved. This is a move all United supporters can believe in. A cause we can all unite behind in solidarity, strength, and a determination to protect the soul of the club we all love. The principles of the full agreement can be found in the agreement here
