Arsenal want Marcus Rashford as Man Utd make transfer decision
Manchester United have reportedly made their position clear over Marcus Rashford as Arsenal emerge among the Premier League clubs interested in signing the forward this summer.
Rashford’s future remains uncertain after Barcelona decided against activating their £26million option to make his loan move permanent.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have since been linked with the 28-year-old as they assess attacking additions before the transfer window closes.
However, United are reportedly reluctant to strengthen a domestic rival.
The Standard reports that Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring Rashford, but United have no interest in selling him to another Premier League side.
🚨 Marcus Rashford will report back to Carrington on SUNDAY after being part of the England squad that finished third at the World Cup and could POTENTIALLY TRAVEL with the rest of the squad to Dublin, where United will face Leeds at Croke Park next Wednesday.

Rashford was previously available through a £40million release clause which applied to most clubs.
That clause expired on 15 July without being activated. Any permanent departure must therefore now be negotiated directly with United rather than completed for a fixed £40million fee.
Arsenal’s interest is understandable after they missed out on Morgan Rogers and continued searching for another left-sided attacker.
However, Rashford has previously favoured remaining abroad rather than joining another English club.
His options have changed since Barcelona chose not to keep him permanently.
ReadManUtd reported on Monday that Fenerbahce have already contacted Rashford’s representatives, giving him another possible route away from Old Trafford.
Michael Carrick could also reintegrate the England international if no suitable move materialises.
Rashford scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists during his season with Barcelona, rebuilding his reputation after difficult final months at United.
Arsenal may now be watching developments, but United’s reluctance to sell domestically means a move to the Emirates appears far from straightforward.
