Manchester United will continue their preparations for the new season when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly on Saturday. And off the pitch, work also continues as the club looks to bolster Michael Carrick’s squad heading into the new campaign.

Andrey Santos was the club’s first signing of the summer, before Karl Darlow, whose contract had expired at Leeds United, and Youri Tielemans also moved to Old Trafford. Santos joined United from Chelsea in a deal that could be worth £50m, while Tielemans moved to the Reds from Aston Villa.

United, though, continue to be linked with a host of names, and below is the transfer gossip involving the club.

Jarrod Bowen claim

Manchester United have long been linked with a move for Jarrod Bowen - and he could be available for as little as £15m next summer.

According to talkSPORT, Bowen can leave West Ham for as little as £15million if they fail to win promotion this season.

They also report that Bowen’s previous release clause as a Premier League player was significantly higher.

With his long-term future at the club uncertain after the Hammers’ 14-year stay in the top flight ended in May, captain Bowen confirmed last month that he would be staying at the London Stadium to lead their push for promotion.

He said: “There’s a lot of thinking time over the summer and a lot of things that go in your head. For me I look in years and years to come of when I retire… what’s going to bring me the most happiness?

“It was a no-brainer. The main motivation is staying and bringing this club back into the Premier League, where we belong.”

United 'enter' Lucumi race

Jhon Lucumi only wants to join a 'big club' if he leaves Bologna this summer as Manchester United reportedly entered the race to sign him.

Lucumi is a former team-mate of Joshua Zirkzee’s at Bologna and Quotidiano Sportivo is reporting that United have now entered the race to sign the 28-year-old.

The Colombia international has just 12 months left on his current contract with Bologna and Chelsea are also named in the report as a possible destination.
