Man Utd do hold an interest in Racing Santander left-back Jorge Salinas, according to reports in Spain.
TEAMtalk originally reported that the Red Devils were keen on the teenager, and Madrid-based publication AS say they have managed to confirm the story.
Salinas is seen as a cheaper alternative to Lewis Hall, with the Red Devils looking to provide more competition for Luke Shaw on the left-hand side of defence.
