Manchester United Confirm £20m Betway Deal for Training Kit
Manchester United have officially announced Betway as their new training-kit sponsor in an agreement reportedly worth £20million per year.
Betway has become an Official Principal Partner ahead of the 2026/27 season, ending United’s year-long spell without a dedicated training-wear sponsor.
The multi-year agreement will see Betway branding appear on training wear used by the men’s and women’s first teams.
The Times reports that the partnership is worth around £20million annually, with United describing it as the biggest standalone training-kit or sleeve sponsorship agreement in world football.
Manchester United have confirmed their new training kit partner will be Betway.
The gambling company has agreed a multi-year deal with United, which will see its logo emblazoned on the shirts worn by men’s and women’s players during sessions at Carrington.

United had been without a training-kit sponsor since their previous agreement with Tezos expired in June 2025.
The club opted against immediately replacing Tezos and instead spent more than a year searching for an agreement they believed reflected United’s commercial value.
Betway now fills that gap at a time when United are preparing for their return to the Champions League under Michael Carrick.
The reported £20m annual income also provides another significant revenue stream while the club continue shaping Carrick’s squad before the transfer window closes.
ReadManUtd reported on Tuesday that United are reconsidering how to use their remaining transfer resources, with several positions still under consideration.
The timing is also notable because Premier League clubs can no longer use gambling companies as front-of-shirt sponsors from the 2026/27 season.
That restriction does not extend to training-kit partnerships, allowing Betway to retain significant visibility through its agreement with United.
Financial terms have not been officially disclosed by Manchester United, but the reported £20m-a-year value makes the partnership one of the biggest of its kind in football.
