The journalist explains this could be part of a larger plan from Mendes. He suspects that helping Juve sign the Bosnian was to give them a ‘free pass’ regarding Conceicao and help them find a new suitor.

Zirkzee needs a new club, and the same is true Conceicao.
While his 1v1 abilities are there to see, his final ball is inconsistent. This makes him a frustrating player to watch.
Manchester United don’t need a right-wing option right now. Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo can do a job there, with Shea Lacey also doing well in pre-season.
Despite that, with Jorge Mendes at the centre of things, nothing can be ruled out.
