Michael Carrick’s Man Utd will face their toughest pre-season test against European champions PSG when they face Luis Enrique’s side in Sweden on August 8, 4 PM BST.
Through three pre-season games, Michael Carrick’s Man Utd have drawn against Wrexham, and followed it up with two brilliant wins against Rosenborg and Atletico.
With more senior players returning with every game, Carrick will have more options to test against the current best club side in the world.
PSG are playing just two pre-season games, in contrast to Man Utd, so the fitness edge for Carrick’s men sets this up for a positive result.

United already have an injury issue to contend with this season as Benjamin Sesko is yet to join first-team training due to his shin splints issue sustained last season.
Sesko missed training again recently, which all but rules him out of this game. Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte are long-term absentees.
Youri Tielemans returned to training with the first team after sustaining an injury with Belgium at the World Cup, so look out for his first appearance for Man Utd vs PSG.
On a more positive note, the likes of Noussair Mazraoui, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, and Matheus Cunha have returned to pre-season training.
Carrick will likely give his key players some minutes to ramp up preparations, as just two more friendlies remain after this one.
With Altay Bayindir and Radek Vitek set to leave, also expect Senne Lammens to make his first appearance this pre-season after being in training for a week now.
On the academy side, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the likes of JJ Gabriel, Dan Armer, and Jim Thwaites again, while Shea Lacey is already considered a proper first-team player.
