Joshua Zirkzee's time at Old Trafford nears its end as Juventus pursue a deal. Negotiations are currently ongoing, with the two clubs deciding between a loan and a permanent deal.

Joshua Zirkzee's Manchester United career has not exactly gone to plan, although his signing was an odd one before the deal was even finalised.
Erik ten Hag was searching for a competitor for Rasmus Hojlund after the Dane netted 16 goals in his first season at the club. But Zirkzee was never a direct competitor for Hojlund.
The Dutchman is a self-proclaimed "9.5" rather than an out-and-out centre-forward. For Zirkzee to play for United, Ten Hag had to change his system, forcing wingers to make more inverted runs and the attacking midfielder to play more advanced.
While Ten Hag was in charge, Zirkzee netted just once – in the opening-day win against Fulham. Perhaps that was because he had a No.10 behind him (Scott McTominay) who was willing to make the run beyond him and free up space in the middle of the pitch.
Zirkzee improved under Rúben Amorim, but has not been a regular under Michael Carrick and now looks set to leave Old Trafford, with Juventus seemingly the favourites for his signature.
Zirkzee to Juventus details revealed
Joshua Zirkzee started Manchester United's first two matches of pre-season (against Wrexham and Rosenborg), but looks set to leave the club this summer.
Matte Moretto has reported that United's No.11 has opened the door to joining Juventus this summer, but he is awaiting clarity on whether the two clubs can reach an agreement.
Manchester United are said to be aiming for a permanent transfer, although Moretto claims they will also be open to a loan with an obligation to buy.
Juventus’ Chief Football Officer Fredric Massara is in "close contact" with all of the parties involved in the deal.
Gianluca Di Marzio has also reported that Juventus are ready to finalise the transfer, with talks currently ongoing.
He claims that United could be open to a loan move for Zirkzee.

Who could replace Zirkzee against PSG?
While he did not start the third match of pre-season against Atletico Madrid, Joshua Zirkzee was still included in the squad and played 17 minutes from the bench.
With a transfer on the cards, Michael Carrick may choose to leave the Dutchman in Manchester, instead choosing to focus on the talent at his disposal for the long-term.
Matheus Cunha, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes and Noussair Mazraoui have all returned to Carrington after their post-World Cup breaks, so they will likely join Carrick's squad for the second trip to Sweden in as many weeks. Senne Lammens and Youri Tielemans should be on the plane, too, after returning late last week.
If Carrick is after a forward to replace Zirkzee against Paris Saint-Germain, he may look towards Chido Obi, who featured against Rosenborg.
Enzo Kana-Biyik has also been spotted in first-team training this week after making his Manchester United debut for the Under-21s against Altrincham. He signed for United last summer from Le Havre before being immediately loaned to Lausanne-Sport.
