**Eva Olid has been appointed as the new head coach of Manchester United Women.**
The 40-year-old has signed a contract until June 2028, with the option to extend for a further year.
She joins United having most recently been head coach of Scottish club Hearts.
“It’s not a secret that this is one of the best clubs in the world,” Olid said.
“I know the fans will enjoy watching us play and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity.”
