Manchester United and Arsenal will go head-to-head with two new midfield superstars in their squad.
The headline signing in Manchester United’s rebuild this summer has been the £35m capture of Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa.
Tielemans is set to make his United debut this weekend against PSG, and before a ball has been kicked, he is already being crowned as the signing of the summer by some.
But Arsenal have also been in the market for a new central midfielder and the Gunners have now struck a £75 million deal to sign Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes.

As if the United vs Arsenal rivalry wasn’t hot enough already, the two sets of fans can now also debate between their two new midfield signings.

The start of the 2026/27 season is now just weeks away, and United’s fixtures against Arsenal will now be even more highly-anticipated.

Tielemans and Guimaraes will have a chance to go head-to-head with their new clubs for the first time in December, when United travel to North London to face Mikel Arteta’s side.
