Man Utd defender Gabby George closing in on six-figure Brighton move
Manchester United defender Gabby George is closing in on a move to Brighton as she looks for more regular first-team football.
The 29-year-old has one year remaining on her contract after United triggered an extension option in January.
However, GOAL reports that Brighton are now close to an agreement worth a six-figure fee.
George is understood to be keen on the move because of the opportunity to play more regularly.

George joined United from Everton in 2023 and has made more than 50 appearances across three seasons.
Her time at Old Trafford was disrupted by a serious ACL injury shortly after arriving, but she later returned to help United compete domestically and in Europe.
A departure would continue a busy summer for the women’s squad.
Marc Skinner left earlier this week, with ReadManUtd covering the priorities facing his replacement.
That replacement has now been confirmed, with Eva Olid taking charge after leading Hearts through the most successful period in their history.
George would arrive at Brighton with extensive WSL experience and the versatility to play at centre-back or left-back.
Nothing has yet been formally announced by either club.
However, with talks advanced and George pushing for regular football, another Manchester United Women exit now appears close.
