Dillon Brooks has agreed to a three-year, $73 million contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
The new deal cements Brooks as part of the Suns' future, maintaining the star forward until 2029-30.

Dillon Brooks arrived in Phoenix last offseason as part of the blockbuster Kevin Durant trade with the Houston Rockets.
The acquisition of Brooks served as a major X-factor for the Suns' solid 2025-26 season. With the intensity, defense, and culture that Brooks helped to build, Phoenix won 46 games and reached the NBA Playoffs again.
He averaged 20.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 43.5% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range across 56 games.
Retaining Brooks served as one of the Suns' major agendas this offseason, and extending him to three more years gives the franchise more opportunity to build around him and franchise superstar Devin Booker.
Brooks' extension serves as another key step for the Suns this summer. After retaining Collin Gillespie, Mark Williams, and Jordan Goodwin to multi-year deals, they also brought in Miles Bridges via trade and Luke Kennard in free agency.
