Brighton Women New Signing Gabby George'Gives Fantastic Options'

Brighton Women have signed England international Gabby George from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.
Head coach Dario Vidosic said: “We are delighted to welcome Gabby to the club.
“Her versatility in defence gives us fantastic options and her technical quality on the ball will help elevate how we want to play.
“She understands what it takes to perform at the highest level in this league week in, week out, and her leadership both on and off the pitch will strengthen our group tremendously.
“We have big ambitions for the season ahead and adding a player of Gabby’s calibre and character is a massive step forward for us.”
George began her senior career at Everton in 2014, making her first-team debut at 17 years old.
Across a nine-year spell in Merseyside, she accumulated 126 appearances and scored seven goals for the Toffees, helping them secure promotion back to the top flight in 2017.
She joined Manchester United in September 2023 and was part of the squad during their historic FA Cup-winning 2023/24 campaign.
Internationally, George represented England through every youth level from the U17s to the U23s before making her senior Lioness debut in 2018.
