The newspaper explains Bologna already regard Lucumí’s departure as inevitable. While Juventus have an agreement with the player over personal terms, their offers have failed to satisfy the Italian club. That means the door is left open for England.
Manchester United have been linked with the 28-year-old in recent days, but this is the clearest indication yet. The club are weighing up matching Bologna’s demands instead of trying to negotiate a lower fee.

The newspaper adds Bologna are determined not to dismantle Domenico Tedesco’s squad after already losing several important players.
That means they intend to reject any approach for another reported Manchester United target: Jonathan Rowe. And that’s regardless of whether Everton return with an improved offer around €35m (£30.4m) or Aston Villa follow up their interest after John McGinn’s injury. Lucumí, however, remains the exception.
